Product Details: Rose Hip Oil is extracted from the seeds within the hips of a wild rosebush that grows in the lush rainy valleys of the southern Andes Mountains of Chile. It is known by the Chileans as "Rosa Mosqueta", and by scientists as Rosa Affinis Rubiginosa and has been in the cosmetic and dermatology market since it's discovery over 25 years ago. Only now is it finally understood why it is so effective as an anti-aging treatment which is why it is becoming increasingly popular and flooding the markets in countries such as Japan and Korea. Rose Hip Oil is a natural source of bio-available Trans-retinoic Acid and is an alternative to rival trade marked drugs such as Retin-A, Renova and Tretinoin (it is also on the market as many other names.) Natural Retinoic Acid is excellent for the improvement of dry, sun damaged, wrinkled and aging skin and is becoming increasingly popular due to its complete lack of side effects seen in its synthetic competitors. There is evidence that Trans-retinoic Acid actually prevents sun damage. Researchers have found that even brief exposure to sunlight increases the activity of enzymes that break down the proteins collagen and elastin that provide structural support for the skin. Products containing Trans-retinoic Acid reduce the activation of these enzymes. Rose Hip Oil is also a natural form of topical Vitamin-A with regenerative and distinctive anti-inflammatory effects highly noticeable when treating puffiness under the eyes.
